in Winston-Salem NXL for a time and with the State Comptroller General's office in Columbia for seventeen years He retired as Deputy Director from the Federal Housing Administration in 1971 after twenty-six years employment with the federal government After his wife Grace Goodwyn Hane Sprott died in 1990 he moved from Columbia to Georgetown to be near his daughter He was communicant of Prince
