What year is this cruise? People are eating rice pilaf and drinking Blue Hawaiians, the comedian’s routine is shockingly racist, and the big musical revue is a nearly all-white salute to Motown. I halfway expected to run into cigarette machine. I am old, but Gen Z: I was appalled on your behalf. The fact that the buffet has a vegan section and there’s a nightly LGBTQ meet-up reminded me it was

Sapphire was built in 2004 and refurbished in 2018.It hold ups to 2670 passengers and up to 1100 crew. That's a nice crew to passenger ratio. This smaller ship really provides wonderful service. We took a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles from October 8th-15th, 2023.I would have given them a 4 1/2 stars, but that wasn't a choice. The reality is even though, they

Picked this cruise as a B2B to the Vancouver-Sydney relocation cruise. The weather for 14 days was bleak, but doing a return trip we managed to see everything we wanted, though we missed Hubbard Glacier and the first Ketchikan stop. The internet worked well and we had no problems with the Medallion app. Would have spent more time in the casino except the smoke smell was terrible, seeping out

Price for a turnaround Alaskan cruise was really inexpensive. You see same ports but different glaciers. Obstructed ocean view cabin is clean and comfortable. I just wish Princess would clean the outside windows. The new Alaskan menu in the dining room is excellent if you like fish/ seafood. 3 production shows good, comedians horrible. The naturalist onboard gave informative lectures but the

This was our first cruise on Princess. We have sailed with Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity before. We were very excited to go on an 11 day Alaska Cruise!Let's start with the Pros. Main dining room food was excellent, drinks and specialty co*cktails were delicious and the itinerary was wonderful. Big production shows were outstanding and I was able to perform the last night in the Voice

We chose this cruise because of the dates. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The only fault we found was the condition of our cabin. The bathroom needed more attention to clean stains in the shower and toilet. There were stains on the bed cover so we just threw it off. We knew this was an older ship that had been refurbished. There was not enough late night entertainment. We are night people.

We had a great time on the cruise. I am diabetic and was happy to see sugar free desserts. I love my coffee and was glad to see the expresso being served. My wife is not fond of sweet desserts and was glad to have so much fresh fruit available. All of the staff were so nice and caring, always willing to help. I was really impressed with them all; waitstaff, housekeeping and the crew. Our

We booked an Alaska cruisetour with Princess after lots of research. Have done nearly 30 cruises with various lines including several with Princess.Spent 7 days on a land tour first, which was excellent and ran very smoothly despite the changes of location along the way.We chose the Grand as we wanted a smaller ship and love the wrap around promenade deck on this older class. The smaller

This was a 'cruisetour' to Alaska, starting from Anchorage and ending in Vancouver. The land portion consisted of a first night in Anchorage (stay was at Princess' Captain Cook), second night at McKinley Princess Lodge and third and fourth nights at Denali Princess Lodge. Honestly the stay in Anchorage and McKinley was 'irrelevant' - meaning these were not worthy stops as far as interesting
