Select either ParentVUE or StudentVUE from the links above.

• Parents must set up their username and password prior to logging in.
• Students log in with the student ID number and password provided by your school.

• Navigate to this ParentVUE/StudentVUE info page

Go to the BSD Home page,https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us.

Select the QUICK SEARCH option.

From the pop-up window, select the ParentVUE/StudentVUE option.

ParentVUE and StudentVUE areavailable as mobile apps that you can download to your Appleor Android device.

1. Search for ParentVUE or StudentVUE, all one word.
2. Make sure the developer is Edupoint Educational Systems
3. There should be no cost for the app.
4. The ParentVUE app has a purple background.

If you are navigating to ParentVUE from a different page, you may encounter a page that asks if you are a parent or a student. For ParentVUE, select "I am a parent."For StudentVUE, select "I am a student."

From the Login page, make sure to select "Activate Account/ Reset Password (More Options)" to reveal more optionsand select the "Activate Account" button.

Step 1of activating your ParentVUE is to review the Privacy Statement and then select the "I Accept" button.

Step 2 is where you will enter your first name, last name,and activation key.

• Your first and last name must match exactly what wehave in our system.
  • If you received an activation letter, type your name exactly as it appears in the letter.
• Your Activation Key is also located in the activation letter.
• If you receive an error, or you don't have an activation key code,contact your student's school.

Step 3 is where you will create your ParentVUE User Name and Password, and provide your Primary E-Mail address.

If you created your ParentVUE account through Online Registration, then check your email account for the ParentVUE email, then follow the link within to complete the account registration process.

• Your email address will be used bydefault for your User Name. You may change this to anything you’d like.

• Enter and confirm your password (minimum of 6 characters), then click Save and Continue.

Once your account is setup and your studentsaresetup (for ParentVUE), then when you log in you will be taken to the main page.

The upper left corner of the screen displays the student you are currently focused on. In ParentVUE, to switch to a different student, select anywhere in this area to display adrop down list.

If you have more than one student enrolled at any school in the Beaverton School District, then they should appear on this drop down list. Once you select a student to focus on, all of the information in the Menu screens will pertain to the student selected.

The top Navigation buttons are screens that pertain to your general ParentVUE/StudentVUE account. StudentVUE does not have the "Family Updates and New Student Enrollment" button.

The My Account screen displays information for the ParentVUE account.

Your account name, user ID, and address fieldsare not editable. To change this information, please contact your school's main office.

Top Half

The Auto Notify section allows you to receive an email notification whenever your student is tardy or absent. You must designate which email address you would like to receive the notifications at. After making any changes, click the Update Account button at the top or bottom of the screen.

Bottom Half

To change your phone number information, click in the field you want to change and update the information. To add additional phone numbers, click the plus button in the upper right corner of the section. After making any changes, click the Update Account button at the top or bottom of the screen.

Acknowledged Documents allows you to view and download documents the school shares with you.

Account Access History displays all of the times your ParentVUE account has been logged in. This includes instances where the log in failed.

The left sideMenu is a list of pages that pertain to your student. If you have more than one student in the Beaverton School District, these pages will reflect information for the student you are currently focused on. Some of these pages may not be used by your school, as there may be other programs used that serve that function.

Home takes you back to the student current information page.

Messages may not be used because the Beaverton School District mainly uses ParentSquare.

Calendar displays classes, assignments, and statuses.

Attendance displaysexcused and unexcused absences, as well as tardies, activities, and days that are not scheduled.

Class Schedule lists classes and times per day and semester.

Class Websites are links to Announcements, Homework, and Documents used in each classroom.

Course History displays all courses taken in the district, graduation progress in subject areas, and test requirements.

Grade Bookdisplays classes and grades for the current year.

Healthdisplays an Immunization Summary.

Report Carddisplays a Grade Legend.

School Informationdisplays address, numbers, and a staff list.

Student Infodisplays the demographic information on file for the student. If your student has not changed their password for their BSD account, it can be found here.

Online Payment Systemis a link to the payment system.

Canvas for Parentsis a link to the parent access portal for the student learning management system (Canvas).

Parent Bookmarksis a link to a page of apps and resources for parents andguardians.

Test History displays a list of tests taken by your student.

Documentsdisplays a list of documents shared to the parent by the school.

The Home page displays a list of all students enrolled in the Beaverton School District. It also includes current class information for each student and also any recent events. StudentVUE only displays the student's information.

In the lower right corner of the browser window is the "Accessibility Mode" drop up selection menu. This allows you to translate ParentVUE/StudentVUE. ParentVUE/StudentVUE can be translated into eight languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Japanese, and Arabic.

1. The Report Absence button is on the student list page, to the right of the student name.

2. A pop-up window will appear. The Start Date,Note, and Select A Reasonare required. (The only option for Select A Reason is Absence - Excused.) TheEnd Dateis not required if the absence is for one day. If the absence is for more than one day, then the End Date is required. You also have the option of uploading a document by selectingAdd doctor's note ordocument.

Click the Save button.

3. Once the absence has been submitted it will show up on the student's calendar indicating that it is an excused absence.

From the Login page, make sure to select "Activate Account/ Reset Password (More Options)" to reveal more optionsand select the "Forgot Password" button.

Enter your ParentVUE username and click Send Email. If you do not know your ParentVUE username, you may enter the primary email address the school has on record for you.

A confirmation message will appear letting you know that an email has been sent and to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it. If you haven't received the email in 30 minutes, contact the school's office.

Click on the link that says Click to return to Login

The password reset email will come from noemail@beaverton.k12.or.us. Adding this address to your trusted sender list may help the email reach your inbox.The password reset email will only be sent if the email you entered exactly matches the email on record.

In the email, click on the link that says Click here to change password.

The link brings you to the Change Password page. Note: your username will be read-only.

Enter your First Name and Last Name in the appropriate boxes. Your name must be entered exactly as the school has it on file.

Your new password must be a minimum of 6 characters in length and can consist of numbers and letters, but not special characters.

The password is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly the same in both the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

Once all four fields on this page are populated and error-free, click on the Change Password button.

Your are then taken to a success page. You may now exit this page and log in using your new credentials.

1. Visit the ParentVUE login pageand login using your previously created User Name and Password.

2. Select Documents in the left menu column. From the list that appears, select which report you would like to view. The most recent report should appear at the top of the list.

If you need a report card for another child, switch to that child's profile in the top left corner of your screen.

3. After selecting the report you wish to view, itwill open as a web document with browser specific options for printing and downloading.

If you need further assistance printing, please contact your student's school.

Step 1 – Select the Conference menu option. If your school decides not to use this option it will not be available.

Step 2 – Select the Parent Teacher Conference link.

Step 3 – If the conference is setup for you to choose your own meeting time, then you can select the row to go to the selection screen. Otherwise, the teacher’s chosen Meeting Time will appear here.

Step 4 – If the teacher is allowing for a virtual meeting, and is allowing parents to choose, then you will select the icon under Meeting Type. In the calendar area, you will choose a blue Available meeting time. Meeting Times that have already been selected will appear in grey as Unavailable.

Step 5 – Chosen Meeting Time will be listed next to the Meeting Type icons and will also appear in purple with student’s name on the calendar.

Step 6 – The pop up window can now be closed and the Meeting Time information will appear on the Conference screen. If the meeting is virtual, then you can select the Open Meeting link to start the virtual session.

Step 1 – Select the Conference menu option. If your school decides not to use this option it will not be available.

Step 2 – Select the Parent Teacher Conference link.

Step 6 – The pop up window can now be closed and the Meeting Time information will appear on the Conference screen. If the meeting is virtual, then you can select the Open Meeting link to open the virtual meeting.

Check which school district is displayed on the log in page of the mobile app. If it is not Beaverton School District, then you will need to change it. Select the Settings button in the lower left corner.

Select the "Add another district URL" button.

Enter your postal zip code in the empty field. Your zip code must be within the boundaryof the Beaverton School District.

Select "Beaverton School District" when it appears on the list.

A confirmation window will appear that asks you if you want to make Beaverton School District your school district. Select the Yes button.

The next pop-up asks if you have a ParentVUE account already setup or if you would like to set one up. Your ParentVUE account must already be setup in the Beaverton School District in order for the mobile app to work. If your account is not setup, try logging in from a computer web browser, or contact your school's office. You should select Already Activated, so that you can log in with your credentials, once your ParentVUE account has been activated.

Your district is now changed and the login page should display, "Beaverton School District."

If you need to manually enter the ParentVUE URL, instead of entering the Zip Code, then select "Enter Manually" in the lower right corner.

Delete the URL for the previous school district.

Type in the following URL for the Beaverton School District:

https://parentvue.beaverton.k12.or.us

After entering the URL, select the Test button to verify the connection.

If the connection is successful, then you will receive a pop-up stating, "Connected to Beaverton School District." Select OK.

After you are finished entering the information, select the Done button. This will take you back to the login page.

Begin Process

1. After you log into ParentVUE,click on Family Updates and New Student Enrollment in the upper right corner of the screen.

Note: If you log in using the Online Registration direct login you will NOT see this screen and can advance to Step 2.

2. Select 2021-2022 Vaccination Card Upload from the drop-down selections. Click on Begin Process.

3. Read and Advance through the Welcome screen and Student Summary screen by clicking on Continue or Save and Continue.

4. Type in your name in the Electronic Signature field and click Save and Continue.

5. On the Home Address screen click on Students from the selections on the left.

6. Click on the Edit button to the left of the students name under the Students to enroll section

7. On the Immunization screen scroll to the bottom and enter COVID-19 vaccination dates in chronological order.

8. Once a selection has been made click Save and Continue.

Repeat Steps 6, 7 and 8 for additional students listed until all say Complete under status. Click Save and Continue at the bottom of the Students screen once all students have been updated.

9. Upload a copy of your student’s vaccination card by clicking on the Upload button and following the prompts.

Click Save and Continue.

Submit

10. Click Submit on the Review/Submit screen

11. Click OK on the Confirm screen.

12. COVID-19 vaccination updates have been submitted for your student(s).
